It requires to factory reset (wiping) of the device to start a clean enrollment.<\/li><li><strong>Company-Owner, Personally-Enabled<\/strong>: they are company-owned devices that employees can use for both personal and work purposes.<\/li><li><strong>Dedicated devices<\/strong>: company-owned devices assigned to a specific employee or task, used solely for work purposes and fully managed by the organization.<\/li><li><strong>Bring Your Own Device (BYOD):<\/strong> also known as <strong><strong>Work profile<\/strong><\/strong>, it refers to personal devices that employees use for work. The corporate space will be fully encrypted and you will have full control over it. Devices can be enrolled and unenrolled in\/from the work profile without requiring a factory reset<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-420fb27 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"420fb27\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Manual enrollment (code or QR)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-69593c4 elementor-alert-warning elementor-widget elementor-widget-alert\" data-id=\"69593c4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"alert.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-alert\" role=\"alert\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-alert-title\">Note<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-alert-description\">If  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.applivery.com\/docs\/platform\/integrations\/platform\/sso\/google-workspace\/\">Google Workspace<\/a> is configured as your IDP and experience any issues during the enrollment process, you will need to review your configuration in the <a href=\"https:\/\/admin.google.com\/\">Google Admin Console<\/a>.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1d37de9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1d37de9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Step 1 - Create new enrollment<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-77aa054 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"77aa054\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Once in the Applivery Dashboard, navigate to<strong>\u00a0Devices<\/strong> and click <span class=\"button-add\">+ Enroll device<\/span>. Fill out the form as follows:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Platform:<\/strong> Choose between Android or Apple, depending on the type of device you would like to enroll.<\/li><li><strong>Management mode:<\/strong> Choose between a Fully managed and Work profile, as described above.<\/li><li><strong>Device employee:<\/strong> User who owns the device. You can create a new employee by introducing the email address.<\/li><li><strong>Policy:<\/strong> Choose the policy to apply to the device. You can do so under Device Management &gt; Policies if you haven&#8217;t created it yet. To do this, simply open the dropdown menu next to <span class=\"button-add\">+ Enroll device<\/span> and select <span class=\"button-edit\">+ Enroll multiple devices<\/span>. \n<br \/>\nAn enrollment will be created for each selected device employee. In summary, enrollment requires the following steps.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-02fd4ac elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"02fd4ac\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Fully managed<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-043fed8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"043fed8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol><li>Turn on your wiped or factory-reset device.<ol><li><strong>Option 1<\/strong>: On the Welcome screen, select your language.<\/li><li><strong>Option 2<\/strong>: Tap 6 times over the <strong>Welcome<\/strong> message until accessing the QR Reader option.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><li>Connect to your <strong>Wi-Fi<\/strong> and then choose <strong>NEXT<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Accept the <strong>Google Terms and Conditions<\/strong> and then choose <strong>NEXT<\/strong>.<\/li><li>On the Google sign-in screen, enter <strong>afw#setup<\/strong> instead of a Gmail account and then choose <strong>NEXT<\/strong>.<\/li><li>On the Enroll this device screen, allow your device to <strong>scan a QR code or choose to enter the enrollment code manually<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Lastly, please follow carefully all the steps on your device screen to complete the enrollment.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f367bb2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f367bb2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Work profile<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c4f2caa elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c4f2caa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol><li>Go to <strong>Settings &gt; Google &gt; Set up work profile<\/strong>. Alternatively you can open a provided URL, or scan a QR code.<\/li><li>Wait for the opening of the <strong>Android Device Policy App<\/strong>. In case it\u2019s not yet installed on your device, wait for the download\/install of the Android Device Policy App on your device.
