Add your self-hosted app on a device policy<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOnce in the <\/span>Applivery Dashboard<\/span><\/a>, go to any of your <\/span>Policies<\/strong> (1)<\/span> section (under <\/span>Device Management > Policies<\/strong>). From the left side menu go to Apps<\/strong><\/span> (2)<\/span>\u00a0and click the + Add App<\/span> button (3)<\/span>.<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Enable unknown sources<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAdding your self-hosted app to the whitelist requires <\/span>enabling unknown sources<\/span><\/a> through the policy properties to allow secure installation.<\/span>\n\nAfter adding your application, navigate to Restrictions<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(1)<\/span>, Apps\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>(2)<\/span>, and enable the required properties <\/span>(3)<\/span>.<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\tNote<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWhen installing your self-hosted app on a work profile, remember that work profile policies take precedence in certain security aspects. This means the app might be installed in the personal profile instead of the work profile.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

You need <\/span>to <\/span>upload the application as Private App to Managed Google Play<\/span><\/a> to ensure its installation in the work profile.<\/span><\/p>

After you upload it, Google will review and publish your app, and it may take 2 to 48 hours for it to become fully available.<\/span><\/p>

Please note that Applivery does not control app runtime.\u00a0<\/span>If the app supports it, you can use Managed Configurations to configure and customize its behavior.<\/span><\/p>

When adding the app to the app list, you can <\/span>configure Managed Properties<\/span><\/a> to inject them into the app at runtime.<\/span><\/p>

Once your app is uploaded to Managed Google Play, you can easily access the side menu by clicking on the app, from where you will be able to configure all the essential app properties as needed.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
