Effectively managing multiple user accounts on a single device is essential for maintaining a company\u2019s security policies. While using one device for multiple users can optimize resource allocation, poor management can lead to unauthorized access and data breaches.<\/p>

For instance, the Shared iPad feature allows organizations to easily manage iOS devices used by multiple users.<\/p>

Applivery offers a seamless solution for managing user accounts on shared iPads and Macs, ensuring both security and efficient operations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Create a user account policy<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Once in the Applivery dashboard<\/a>, head to the Device Management<\/strong> section and select Policies<\/strong>. Click the + Create Policy<\/span> button, which will display a modal view.<\/p>

You will need to select Apple<\/strong> as the operating system, name the policy, choose a template from the list, and check the box for Apply to device user accounts<\/strong>.<\/p>

This will allow you to create an account-specific policy instead of a device-level policy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Once you\u2019ve created the policy, you will be redirected to its Summary page. From the + Add Configuration<\/strong> button, you can apply all necessary settings for your specific users.<\/p>

After making these changes, you will find a list of devices associated with users who have this policy applied at the bottom of the page.<\/p>

You can also add new users by clicking the + Assign to device user<\/span> button.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
