Steps to update Zebra devices<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Add the app Zebra OEMConfig Powered by MX<\/span><\/strong> (com.zebra.oemconfig.release<\/code>) <\/span>to your policy through the Managed Google Play iFrame<\/span><\/strong>. If you need help with this step, you can find more information here<\/a>.<\/p>

Once the app has been added, open its managed properties and click + Add element<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0under the Files Config<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0section.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    • Download Server URI<\/strong>: Enter the URL of the hosted update file.\n

      Next, locate the FOTA Config<\/strong> section and configure the fields as follows:<\/p>

      • Update Mode<\/strong>: File-Based Updates.<\/li>
      • File-Based Update Source<\/strong>: Local Update File.<\/li>

      • FOTA Update Options<\/strong>:<\/b><\/p>

        • File-Based Update Option Type<\/strong>: Version Mismatch.<\/i><\/span><\/li>

        • Mismatch Version<\/strong>:<\/span> Enter the system version the device will report after the update.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li>

        • File-Based Update Local Path and Name<\/strong>: Specify the same path and file name as above.<\/li>
        • Update Over Cellular<\/strong>:<\/b> Choose whether updates are allowed over mobile data.<\/li>

        • Suppress Reboot<\/strong>:<\/span> Decide whether to prevent automatic reboot after the update.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
