Zebra OEMConfig<\/span><\/strong> is Zebra\u2019s enterprise-grade configuration solution that empowers IT administrators to remotely manage and customize Zebra Android devices at a system level. By leveraging Android Enterprise\u2019s managed configurations framework<\/span>, Zebra OEMConfig enables precise control over Zebra-specific hardware, software, and device settings \u2014 all without requiring custom applications or additional agents.<\/p>

Through integration with Applivery<\/span>, administrators can seamlessly define, deploy, and enforce advanced device policies such as network configurations, app management, security controls, display behavior, and kiosk mode restrictions.<\/p>

Once in the\u00a0Applivery Dashboard<\/a>, go to any of your Policies<\/strong> (1)<\/span>\u00a0(under Device Management > Policies<\/strong>). From the left side menu, go to Apps<\/strong> (2)<\/span> and click the + Add App<\/span> button (3)<\/span>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Search for the Zebra OEMConfig Powered by MX<\/strong>\u00a0app and select the one from Zebra Technologies<\/span><\/strong> (package name: com.zebra.oemconfig.release<\/code>). Set the Install Type<\/span><\/strong> to Force Installed<\/span><\/strong> to ensure the app is automatically installed on any device associated with the policy.<\/p>\n

Once the app appears in the list, click on it to expand all the managed properties<\/span><\/strong> and configure them according to your requirements.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
