About the role
As a Sales Engineer specialized in MDM/UEM, you will play a critical role in helping organizations of all sizes and industries modernize their device management with Applivery Device Management. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams to design and deliver technical solutions that align with each customer’s unique needs across Apple, Android, and Windows environments.
Your expertise in MDM/UEM platforms, Zero Touch/ABM/Autopilot onboarding flows, security policies, and IT automation will make you a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
What you will do
Technical Presales Support
- Understand customer technical requirements and design tailored solutions.
- Deliver product demos, technical workshops, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
- Assist with RFPs, security assessments, and technical documentation.
Solution Design & Architecture
- Advise on best practices for onboarding, configuration, and securing managed devices.
- Guide integrations with platforms like Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure AD, OKTA, and others.
- Support the design of policies, scripts, and automation flows for multi-OS environments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams.
- Relay customer feedback to improve product roadmap and documentation.
- Support training and enablement for technology partners.
Technical Evangelism & Documentation
- Deliver internal and external training on device management best practices.
- Create technical content (playbooks, how-tos, battlecards).
- Represent Applivery at webinars, events, and technical communities.
What you will need
- Solid knowledge of at least one MDM/UEM platform (e.g., Jamf, Intune, Kandji, Soti, MobileIron or even our marvelous UEM product).
- Familiarity with Zero-Touch Enrollment, Apple Business Manager, Android EMM, Windows Autopilot, etc.
- Previous experience in presales, IT consulting, or technical support roles.
- Strong communication skills, able to convey technical concepts clearly.
- Proven experience delivering PoCs or technical workshops in real-world settings.
- Scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell) and cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2) is a plus.
- Fluency in English (technical and conversational, B2+ minimum).
