Export analytics and charts in CSV

Since this morning, you probably have detected a few changes in Applivery, most of them related with the analytics and reports. This is because we’ve just release our version 0.9.3 where we have focused in some of your needs and feedback.

Now you will find a new icon on the top right corner of each analytic report that will allow you to download the selected chart in CSV format. Take in mind that you can change the period of the chart and therefore, of the CSV by changing the date range.

We hope you enjoy and find it useful this improvement and help you better understand the analytic data that Applivery provides.

Allowing app installs from “Unknown Sources” in Android

As part of the Android Operative system, there is a restriction that blocks installing applications outside the Google Play Store. If it’s your first time installing an App through Applivery.com, you’re greeted with, “Install blocked. For security, your phone is set to block installation of applications not obtained from Play Store” message as you try to install. But how do we get there?

Android Unkown Soruces settings

To allow app installs from Applivery, follow this steps:

  1. Go to Settings -> Security
  2. Check the option Unknown sources
  3. Tap OK on the prompt message

That’s all, now you can try again to install the Application.

Beta distributions with Enterprise certificates in iOS 9 (Untrusted Enterprise Developer)

With the release of iOS 9, testers will be required to “trust” your organization’s Apple Enterprise developer certificate, one-time, before running Beta distributions. Testers will see the message “Untrusted Enterprise Developer” when running an app from an untrusted certificate and can trust it by following the steps outlined below on their device.

Quick start guide

Welcome to Applivery, the easiest way to distribute iOS and Android applications.

If you’re here it’s probably because you’ve just logged into your Applivery account for the first time, so lets give you some tips to get started.

This is the Dashboard, where you’ll find a summary of all about your applications. Once here, you’ll discover that Applivery has 4 main elements: Applications, Builds, Distribution Sites and People.

Lets create your first App:

  1. Go to Applications (from the left menu)
  2. Click on +New App Button and fill you App Name

Upload your first Build:

  1. Click on Builds button (just to go to the Builds manager)
  2. Click on Upload Build and select an .ipa or .apk file from your filesystem

Invite People to install and test your App:

  1. Go to Applications (from the left menu)
  2. Select your an App
  3. Go to Members and Teams tab
  4. Click on +Member button and invite people through their emails address or nickname

You can also create a Team to easily manage your teammates in the future:

  1. Go to Teams (from the left menu)
  2. Click on +New Team button fill the Team Name
  3. Click on View all members link
  4. Click on +Add Member button and invite people through their emails address or nickname

Now it’s time to add your new Team to your App:

  1. Go to Applications (from the left menu)
  2. Select your an App
  3. Go to Members and Teams tab
  4. Click on +Team button and select a Team
