About the role
We are a B2B SaaS company specializing in Mobile Device Management (MDM), and weʼre looking to expand our team with talented backend developers.
Weʼre looking for a Head of Cybersecurity to lead and evolve our global security strategy across infrastructure, applications, and data. This is a hands-on leadership role — youʼll design and implement robust security frameworks, lead vulnerability management and incident response, and ensure our infrastructure and services meet the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
You will work closely with our engineering, compliance, and operations teams to strengthen our GCP-based cloud infrastructure, optimize our Cloud Monitoring and Google SecOps workflows, and reinforce our protection layers across Kubernetes, Cloudflare, and other critical components of our stack. If youʼre passionate about building secure systems at scale, have deep expertise in Google Cloud security, and thrive in autonomous environments — this role is for you.
What you will do
- Define and own Appliveryʼs global cybersecurity strategy.
- Implement and continuously improve security controls, incident response, and threat detection systems across GCP and Kubernetes.
- Lead risk assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing initiatives.
- Deploy and optimize Google Threat Intelligence and Google SecOps pipelines.
- Design and manage Cloudflare WAF and Zero Trust configurations to protect public-facing assets.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Product teams to integrate security-by-design principles into every stage of our development lifecycle.
- Oversee compliance readiness (ISO 27001, SOC 2, ENS, GDPR, etc.) and collaborate with auditors and partners.
- Provide leadership and guidance on incident handling, forensics, and post-mortem analysis.
- Maintain a strong relationship with Google Cloudʼs Security ecosystem to stay ahead of emerging threats.
- Report directly to the CTO and CEO on key risk metrics and security posture.
What you will need
Technical Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or head-of-security position.
- Deep technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including IAM, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Armor, and VPC Security.
- Experience with Google Threat Intelligence, Chronicle, or Google SecOps tools.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes Security, including pod-level policies, runtime security, and network segmentation.
- Hands-on experience managing and tuning Cloudflare WAF and Zero Trust.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption standards, and application-layer protections.
- Solid understanding of incident response, forensics, and SIEM/SOC workflows.
- Experience in automation and scripting (Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, etc.) a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C1/C2).
- Strong autonomy, analytical mindset, and passion for continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- Previous experience securing SaaS or multi-tenant architectures.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, ENS and NIST.
- Knowledge of SBOM, Post-Quantum Cryptography, or AI-driven security systems.
- Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer certification.
Benefits
- Flexible compensation available from day one (meal vouchers, transport, etc.).
- Gym support starting from month 6.
- Subsidized health insurance after one year with us.
- Fresh fruit, coffee, and snacks always available at the office.
- A people-first culture that values your well-being and growth.
